The Drive Illustration

---

The Drive Illustration is a visual framework designed to help you examine your spiritual journey through the lens of Scripture—where you are, how you got there, and whether you are truly traveling the Narrow Road that leads to life.

The illustration uses a road map to represent your journey through life, with the many elements illustrating different aspects of following Christ.

• Are you still riding the Tricycle of worldly living around the same old Track, or have you traded it in for the Dream Car of faith in Christ?
• Have you started the Dream Car with the Key of a repentant heart, or are you just sitting in the car, going nowhere?
• Have you run out of Fuel, losing your devotion to God and allowing Satan’s influence to tow you back toward the Track of the world?
• Have you taken an Exit from the Narrow Road onto the Wide Path of rebellion, or are you persevering in God’s will?
• Have you encountered a Road Hazard of God’s discipline that led to a Car Wreck from the consequences of sin, or did you make a U-Turn of repentance?
• Have you come to a Stoplight, where God has you waiting through a season of testing?

Drive the Narrow Road walks you through these questions and many more, using the illustration to help you examine your life against Scripture and understand what it looks like to truly follow Christ.
