About Me

 I have been married for 17 years and am the grateful father of three amazing children. I am a native Texan currently residing in the piney woods of East Texas. I am the author of the upcoming book Drive the Narrow Road.

I was baptized at eight years old and told by the pastor that I was saved. That seemed good enough to me. The problem was that I never opened a Bible, so I actually had no idea what a relationship with God looked like.

Simply put, I was a broken, worldly sinner who finally woke up when I began reading God’s Word for myself. After twenty years of claiming Christianity, I assumed I was saved until Scripture confronted me with the truth. The Bible has completely transformed my life. Through Christ, I have been born again by the Spirit and am being shaped into a man of God who desires to walk in obedience and truth.

If you have ever known me, then you understand how surreal it is that I was asked to preach a sermon at my church. God is doing something unexpected in my life.
